In this hour long class your child will discover that being physically active is fun at WayBeyond! Lesson plans are designed to combine basic movements they already know and put them together into one. Your child will catch, throw, learn to transfer weight from feet to hands, and balance on one foot then switch to the other. They will also stand and hold their own body weight for different periods of time.
At this age, learning how to take direction and immediately put it into action is improved by an increased ability to pay more attention to detail. Our trainers will help your child to develop the basic understanding of sequences and practice proper execution of movements. Our trainers will challenge their bodies and brains to try new tasks, accept difficult challenges and to learn a different vocabulary, such as hand and foot-eye coordination as well as names of core muscle groups. By enrolling your child in this class you’re helping to build healthy habits at an early age and most importantly, an insatiable appetite for living an active lifestyle!
